Each week during music time, children explore sounds with their voices, bodies, and instruments. The music teacher accompanies songs on the guitar, while children use rhythm sticks and other instruments. They learn basic concepts like rhythm and melodies, complementing daily songs in Spanish and English. Activities include making instruments, forming a rhythm band on the playground, and painting while listening to music.

We use hands-on activities to explore various art mediums, such as watercolor, papier-mâché, clay, and collage. Through these projects, students develop skills like following directions, self-expression, creativity, color and shape recognition, and fine-motor skills.

Language development thrives in the early years through Spanish immersion, English exposure, and interactive experiences. Our teachers engage with children using books, songs, and daily activities to help build vocabulary and comfort with language. American Sign Language (ASL) is introduced to enhance communication and boost self-esteem through visual, iconic signs.

Our bilingual teachers, who are native Spanish speakers, lead the Spanish immersion program. Children learn Spanish through stories, songs, and everyday routines like eating lunch, going outside, and washing hands.

Early number concept development is key to fostering positive math attitudes. Children need hands-on, verbal experiences before written numerals make sense. We introduce pre-math skills through activities with manipulatives:
